Every winter time of every year
You bring around holiday cheer.
It does not involve any mistletoe
Or a man who sings, "Ho, Ho, Ho, down the chimney I go!”
You light up the sky with an immense amount of beauty.
How I long for you and miss you truly
During every other season of every single year,
Your warmth and love destroys all of my fears.
Your emerald arms are spread so wide
And under you lays an amazing surprise
I will give you drink when you thirst.
During this season, I think of you first.
Let the white snow fall flat on your face.
You come and go, you leave no trace.
I'll dress you up, you will look so nice.
During this season, you are my biggest vice.
An angel or star shall warm your head.
Of course, I will think of you as I lay in bed.
You dance and sway deep in the night.
You are so tall and strong, with such elegance and might.
Once complete, I shall stare in awe.
I love you so much, you have no flaws.
Please stay all year? Don't ever leave.
My favorite, my love, my Christmas Tree.
