A new angel has arrived
into the spirit world
with wings of gold.

Compassionate friend
loving mother
companion of humanity
giving to others
in time of need.

Selfless and courageous
in her approach
respected and recognized
of good deeds done.

Taking care of the poor
and the young
nursing them back to health
feeding and clothing them
making sure they were warm.

Her family and faith
meant everything
it made her heart
sing and dance
in a musical score
of experience.

She had a sweet tooth for life
and a sugary smile
she kept going to her last mile.

Reading books of learning
with wisdom and soul
comforting everyone she loved
was her greatest reward
soul filled with love and devotion
helper and healer of humanity
a visionary ahead of her time.

The spirit world is embracing her
heart of gold
with angel harp music
playing from high above
welcoming her home.
