Life is in motion, and the world is light. Many kids are out of school, beaches are full, hard workers are vacationing, and birds of all types have completed their journeys to their warm weather roosts. Late day rains wash away noontime heat. Glasses filled with ice tea or lemonade clink and clank with melting ice cubes. Cracks of the bats at a ballgame, catching the waft of flowers upon the hillside, or the flowering of fireworks against a dusk sky bring up long hidden memories.

So, we are looking for seasonal, personal, inspirational, uplifing, touching, motivational, or just plain heart-warming stories, poems, and essays up to 2,500 words that celebrate Summer, including any upcoming Summer Holidays!
