The last 20 years have seen a remarkable trend towards mainstreaming of complementary therapies. We are now in an age where many traditional doctors and hospitals are blending their treatment options to include energetic healing work and providing a holistic, integrative care approach to healing and wellness.
With so much interest and patient demand, insurance companies are now embracing some of these therapies. Recently, several large medical institutions, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Sloan-Kettering in New York, have sponsored research into some complementary therapies. An exciting aspect of this research is the merging of the scientific with the spiritual.

Whisperingtree.net is based in the Denver and Boulder, Colorado, area.
Team members represent a diverse community whose backgrounds include corporate 500 companies, technical, manufacturing and financial sectors, and the United States military. Many of the staff enjoy an avid interest in exploring the benefits of complementary and alternative healing practices -- never as a substitute for medical care, but in discovering what these healing techniques are about, what to expect, and what benefits may be gleaned.
