About Steve Judd

Global

This will be one of the months that people will remember for a long time to come. March starts in the middle of a Mercury retrograde in Pisces, sure-fire guaranteed to bring fog, cloud, nebulousness and uncertainty into most situations. And then comes a very strange and different astrological and astronomical configuration with seven planets in Pisces over the 10th and 11th of March, including the Pisces new Moon, and this will have a very powerful effect on religious structures worldwide. The temple will collapse... This is suggestive of an empathic wave going round the world within one revolution of the axis, so something big and fertile is brewing and gestating – there will be an outpouring of grief or shame in some way that will end the myth of the priesthood to a large extent. Then – as Mercury stops retrograding and the Sun, Venus and Mars leave Pisces and enter Aries, our old friend the Uranus/Pluto square starts to rear his ugly head again. The Libran full Moon on the 27th of March will be square Pluto and opposite not only the Sun but also Venus, Mars and Uranus as well. There is one word that summaries this combination, and that is ‘explosive’, although hopefully not in the literal sense. Expect radical and sudden upheavals from the depths to happen, institutions to shudder and major death and rebirth issues. This is the month that changes everything.

AriesAries There’s that echoing sound about you, the one that says there is a fast train coming. Yet there is nothing in sight or smell, so what’s going on? Well, early March seems occupied by some type of impenetrable barrier stopping you from clearly moving forward or from any type of understanding. And this influence will last for the next few weeks, only really clearing from Equinox. Until then, bide your time and build your energy reserves whilst holding yourself in readiness for what is to come. This is no consolation for the short term, and early March may be seen as frustrating and impotent with a number of invisible reasons for why you can’t move forward. The sensible amongst you will step back and coil yourselves in, waiting for that window of opportunity to pass in front of you, initially when Mars enters Aries on the 12th and certainly by the 22nd when Venus enters your sign. When that window does open, that coiled up energy will then emerge in a sharp and penetrative way that is unstoppable and accurate, but realistically this type of assertive and projective behaviour is unlikely to properly manifest itself until the end of the month, so no rush. And in the back ground, there is the semi permanent presence of Uranus, picking up speed and preparing to bring major lifetime change for either positive or challenging depending on individual flexibility into the lives of those born from the 29th to the 2nd. March 25-29th will trigger everything – you heard it here first.

TaurusTaurus Although those of you born during the last week of April have been bearing the brunt of recent pressure, all of you are beginning to face up to certain evolving facts of life – realisations that some people, environments and situations just aren’t cutting it any more, you’re outgrowing them and if they can’t change to move with you then they’re going to lose you. It’s not your loss, it’s theirs, you seem to be slowly but steadily moving into a more clearly defined future that is extricating yourself gradually from the treacle and quicksand of the past, and one or two people currently around you may not like it. One area that may be of concern is that of your community and friendships. It could be that there are sudden demands on your time and energy from those around you, or that you may find yourself suddenly in need of some type of community support. There are a few of you, primarily those born at the end of April and the very start of May, who are being clobbered by Saturn working from your opposite sign, but even this energy is not getting any worse, instead plateauing and slowly becoming more tolerable. It’s a month for stillness and preparation, because come the second half of April you will all suddenly find yourselves accelerating in a way that’s not been around for over a year, and as a result grateful for the time of now when hopefully you are not champing at the bit or behaving in impulsive ways. You’re not ready yet – bide your time.

GeminiGemini There’s no way that you’re going to be able to avoid the currently accelerating urge for movement, impetus and action over the coming times, so you might as well get used to the idea that the coming few months are going to be in many cases the fastest and most developmental time since 2001. It’s just a question of whether your journey to the end of June is one of gentle cruise control, constantly surfing the edges and taking advantage of quality not quantity on your consolidated rise to the top, or whether it is helter skelter, stop/start and disruptively sporadic in its extremes, both high and low. The best advice here is that the coming few months are going to get a lot, lot faster, so whilst you still can why not park your objectivity somewhere where it can keep an overview whilst the rest of you is going full speed ahead, hopefully with its own abort button to hand. It’s important to remember that actions are now more important than words; that previous promises now need keeping in order to move forward. During March, this is compounded by having a Mercury retrograde on the scene, so don’t look for clarity or results until after the Equinox, from when on you should start getting a rapid clearing of your vision. But until then, don’t make any new long term plans or decisions because there is more information to come that will change your mind over the coming three or four weeks, and there’s no need to be presumptive. Stay a little detached.

CancerCancer You’ve been on the receiving end of so many different types of challenge, pressure and stress over recent times that you’ve become almost inured to them, somehow seeming able to put on a smiling face when actually inside you’re either screaming or numb. And now it does seem as though you’ve metaphorically suffered enough, or at least enough to rise above the pain into a zone where you seem to be able to deal with almost anything or anyone with a kind of blasé approach. Some of you are actually in a very good space, there seems to be a significant amount of energy coming your way this month in terms of your creative potential and output. March should be a time where you find yourself becoming more popular, or at least your energy being sought by others for some reason. You will also find that you’ve got the energy to give, but only if it is as much for humanitarian purposes as much as personal growth. What you can’t do is settle down, or accurately predict any type of cohesive future, because there is just so much different energy coming your way from so many diverse areas that any semblance of order or consistency at the moment is just too much to ask for. But this doesn’t mean that this is a challenging time – far from it. It is a time of anticipation, experiment and new options developing – not conducive to stability, but stimulating nevertheless. March is a month of creative preparation for the months to come, and a time to play and have fun.

LeoLeo There are no signs of any new difficult or majorly challenging circumstances coming into your life this month, but that’s not to say you will have an easy ride. If there is one area that will bring a modicum of challenge, it is that associated with other people’s money. March is potentially the most difficult time of the year as far as negotiating for a pay rise, getting a mortgage or borrowing money goes – certainly not a time for idle speculation. Some of you, particularly those born in the last three days of July and the first three days of August are under a degree of restrictive challenge that is having the effect of blocking certain pathways in your life, but during March you should find that this begins to ease off, or at least stabilise. And there are some of you, whom have found 2012 to be an unusually stimulating year, who will find this coming four to six weeks a time of hopefully successful conclusion to recent developments and the opening up of new chapters in life. The more you get into March, the more energised you will feel and as a result become more effective and efficient. Certainly from the Equinox onwards things will seem potent and vitalised, your get up and go will be firmly in place and you will be able to make things happen that at the start of March seem somehow vague or uncertain. It’s not going to be until at least the halfway point of March that you’re going to feel that your engine is beginning to purr, so take your time and don’t rush.

VirgoVirgo Rather unusually, this month is primarily going to be occupied by a single issue – that of the way that you manage your one to one relationship patterns. This can be at the personal and intimate level, just as much as it can relate to your interactions with parent, child, friend, employer/ee or social contacts – the essence here is that of one to one interactions. And it may be that during March, your capacity for flexibility and being able to bend but not snap under pressure is being tested. It may be that other people’s viewpoints, especially in the first half of the month, may seem so polarised to your own that outcomes may be dictated by only yes or no, black or white answers. Actually, this is entirely the wrong way of going about things, there will be a lot of new information, contacts and developments that suggest a final and clear assessment of where you stand with other or others will only become apparent as the confusion decreases, starting from about the 19th of March onwards. It’s a messy time where you could just end up saying or doing exactly the wrong thing, born of impulsiveness and impatience. But if you are willing to hold your fire temporarily, then as the end of the month approaches so your ability to interact beneficially with others becomes more pronounced. It is the first half of March that is essentially ‘messy’. This will be the time where you see the world change, but primarily through other people’s eyes more than your own.

LibraLibra For the last five months I’ve been telling you to relax, that the big nasty Saturn has moved on and things are a lot lighter. That remains true, but now that the oppressive and laden energy of Saturn has gone, it has cleared space so that remaining issues can become more obvious and into the light. In that context, the ongoing square between Uranus and Pluto comes back sharply into focus this month, with the annual Libra full Moon on March 27th being in direct angle to these two astrological behemoths. This will particularly affect some of you in a certain way. If amongst you there are those for whom the last two/three years have held a degree of disempowerment, forced change and once in a lifetime experiences, then know that the coming full Moon will represent a time where doors can be permanently closed for once and for all, that this is a time of final conclusion and that your pathways forward will be clearer than they’ve been for a long time by the end of this month. But let’s get you there first. This is quite possibly the most volatile or provocative month of the year for you, and what is being asked of you especially in the last ten days of the month is something totally un-Libran like – the need to come off of the fence and to make decisions that will then be cast in stone for eternity. Simple as that really – you can either close some doors willingly, or have them closed in front of you – your choice. Just for the last half of March, it is better to act than to react.

ScorpioScorpio By the time you read this, Saturn will be moving backwards, or retrograding, through your sign and the first hardcore wave of needed and in some cases forced change that has occurred since the beginning of last October will have crested, bringing you to the start of the second phase of this process. This is that of reviewing, assessing and learning the events of the last seventeen weeks and asking yourself about what’s changed, how certain priorities are shifting and how this will affect your long term wellbeing and planning schedule. This secondary ebbing wave will continue until May, after which hopefully sustainable outcomes will be reached in ways that you will be more than content with. But now you are embarking on a journey of questions about value and worth for the next three months and there should be no new major challenges unfolding during this time. And at the more localised level, you may well find that the experiences at the day by day level during March carry a degree of significance or other kind of meaning notable by its gravity. It’s a month where the capacity for internal realisations about how your world view is changing is quite profound, it’s almost as though you can feel the deep cogs at the base of your being turning. Don’t bother pushing yourself too far or too fast at this time, the best results for March will be found in the netherworld of your own internal workings rather than materially or manifestly in the outside world.

SagittariusSagittarius For many of you, March is the final prelude, the last drawing in of breath, the poised toes awaiting the starter’s gun. For others, there has already been a slow launch in recent weeks. But many of you will also find this coming month a time when the pace of life suddenly increases, if only for a week or two, but in such a notable way that it brings an element of fortune into your life. The difference between luck and fortune can be thin, but it is there – luck is random, whereas fortune can be made or attracted. Those of you born at the end of November and the start of December are particularly under the spotlight at the moment, and should refrain from going completely over the top, whereas others among you may find March a time where either home and family circumstances or situations around your work can bring a lot of short term nonsense, with other people (or you!) making a crisis out of a drama and letting things get out of proportion to reality. Better to rise above all of the superficial and superfluous and instead reach for the hidden meaning or philosophy that seems to be guiding events. If you can find some type of bigger picture behind things, then you will be able to manage the daily grind with more enthusiasm. The next couple of months are only going to get louder and faster, so ease yourself slowly and gently into the driving seat – there’s no point in running before you can walk, take your time – you’ll be glad you did in a month.

CapricornCapricorn You’re not so much on the cutting edge or the crest of the ongoing wave of change that’s around you anymore, but you are certainly just behind it, flowing with the go and hopefully feeling sharp, effective and just a little bit angry for some unconscious reason. Pluto is still moving forward, albeit slowing down, and the primordial urge generated by this potentially compulsive or deeply intense movement can bring a degree of discomfort alongside the growing confidence that something permanent is emerging, more refined and efficient than before. In order to grow you have to compromise with certain emerging sides of yourself that perhaps you would rather not look at, but that nevertheless need expression. During March, you are likely to find that the first period of the month is gently receptive, but with an anticipatory edge. Following this, areas concerning your professional status as well as immediate concerns around home and family issues are likely to rear their head, guaranteeing that March will be a steadily more active and in some cases volatile month. The underlying background theme continues to be that of personal metamorphosis and shape shifting, a subconscious urge for transformation and regeneration, but this has been there for a few years now and will continue for a few more. At the moment and until the middle of April, there’s a very good case for saying if it’s working, don’t even think of trying to improve it – just keep going.

AquariusAquarius At the day by day level, March is going to be a month where your daily resources – finance, materials, possessions etc – are likely to weigh more than usual on your mind. This is not a large scale or long term issue, but will take much of your superficial time this month. More in the background, it’s safe to say that this will be a quiet time once you step back from the immediacy of the moment, a time where there are no important issues or immediate concerns and you can go on your path without big challenges or disruptions. If anything, some of you may get bored. If so, perhaps you’re waiting for the world to provide you with alternatives rather than you going out there and researching them. It’s probably not best to go out and spend a lot of money, there are likely to be a lot of mixed signals as far as expenditure at more than the daily level goes, but providing you can manage your resources in a mature way then there will be on problem. The nature of Aquarius is to be a little detached from the world, and as long as you can avoid overt feelings of anger or sorrow at the greed and poverty of the world, this attribute will carry you through comfortably. There are a few of you whose lives are coming under the microscope now, primarily those born during January, and these people particularly should wait until early April to see which way the wind is blowing, lest they get caught in extremes of overstretching or undercutting.

PiscesPisces This could be one of those months that changes everything. Bubbling under, there’s an ongoing Mercury retrograde until the 18/19th, so until then there’s no point at all in trying to understand what’s going on. By the last ten days of the month, you will find that the electrical and frenetic energy fields that have brought a kind of fusion into early March will dissipate. But this is all at the daily level, just the superficial veneer of day by day life. There is a much deeper and hugely significant event directly affecting you in the first half of March, this being the massive planetary line up in Pisces. There will be a two day period on the 10/11th of March when there will be seven planets in Pisces – Neptune, Chiron, Mars, Venus, Mercury, the Moon and the Sun will all be in attendance – and on the 11th it will be the annual Piscean new Moon. For this to happen whilst there are so many other immediate influences suggests that this is a time of major potential change, hopefully in a way that opens your eyes to the possibilities of the future, but also when outdated ideas of the past will finally be discarded in a way that will be seen as permanent and rebirthing, a lit like a snake shrugging its way out of old skin. This is a time of revelation for you, and out of the ashes of the old comes new futures that could not have happened until now. Time to begin again.

Venus is dipping on the horizon during May, shortly to disappear and become the morning star in a few weeks time, where once again it will link up with Jupiter and we will get another amazing light show, but this time in the East just before sunrise as opposed to just after sunset.  Venus going retrograde in it’s five times every eight years pentagonal cycle, this time round in Gemini, will bring an all round change and re-evaluation as to how we individually and as a species process and deal with information.  Mars is beginning to pick up speed, heading for mid Virgo and his August date with Saturn with a bit more verve, and of course Jupiter is rocketing through Taurus now, bringing a great deal of growth into the lives of those born in the last ten days of Taurus, although late Scorpio’s, Leos and Aquarians may not appreciate his largesse.  Even the Moons are relatively quiet; although the Gemini new Moon on the 20th is strongly squaring Neptune, so expect further revelations about the nebulousness and deceptiveness of the media.  This month is not going to see any brand new startling changes – instead it will see the first results of the changes of recent months, and these results will start to appear more in our personal lives as opposed to at the big picture.  Except for those getting hit by Saturn, this is not a bad month – perhaps the best of the year so far.  So stupid as it seems, it’s time to cautiously step outside of the cave and back into what’s left of the world, ready to begin again.
