Steve Judd's Yearly Forecast for 2012

About Steve Judd

The world won’t end in 2012, although for many of us it may represent the end of the world as we have known it. During 2012 the first two of at least seven squares from Uranus to Pluto start happening, in a way that will revolutionise ideas concerning individuality and personal free enterprise whilst at the same time by necessity bring a more acute and incisive edge into the cut and thrust of the evolving economic and political future. Much of the invisible money will disappear in a puff of smoke, and providing they stay transparent individuals will achieve a greater degree of autonomy than previously supposed. The Uranus/Pluto square will force us into revolutionising our ideas around personal responsibility whilst encouraging us to be more proactive in reaching out to others in the same space as ourselves.
Uranus/Pluto far outweighs everything else put together, both in 2012 and in the coming two-three years, but underlying this there are a couple of major movers and shakers and a number of interesting side developments in 2012.
The Saturn/Neptune trine from mid September to late October catches my eye as bringing a greater degree of structure into the imagination and vice versa, a time where laws can become less rigid and more common sense – and this is then followed at the end of 2012 by the start of a nine month sextile from Saturn to Pluto, suggesting the reformation of more flexible structures in the emerging new world. And of particular interest is the first two weeks of March, when Mars, Jupiter and Pluto form a Grand Trine pattern, a time where all types of phenomena can occur, but where the predominant interest is that of possessions, assets, materials, resources, money and property. For some of the little people, this can be an absolutely brilliant time.
In terms of timing, there are a few triggers. As previously indicated, the first ten days of March can be very positive if moderation and common sense is exercised as much as other more expansive functions. The new Moon conjunct Neptune on February 21 indicates a sudden spurt of dissolving in many people’s lives, and the new Moon on March 22 conjunct Uranus can also be seen as a time of new beginnings, a fresh start. All of this takes place during Mars retrograde, so I don’t expect clear results to emerge from this mixture until May/June, when Jupiter leaves Taurus and moves into Gemini, bringing a greater emphasis on clearer and newer forms of communication. The trigger time of greatest difficulty from my astrological perspective is when Mars moves into Cancer and square Uranus whilst opposing Pluto at the same time – a potentially explosive combination of the highest order. This occurs during the period from about June 21 for four weeks until July 22, and by mid August has completely gone, with new roots and foundations coming firmly into place. The full Moon on September 30 is exactly opposite Uranus, suggesting dramatic endings at some titular level, and the full Moon on December 28 opposite Pluto confirms this degree of separation from the common mass of people in some permanent way.
And by way of a teaser ... 2013 will be the real year of permanent change, not 2012. Tune in next year.
Aries Has to be said, you’re heading into one of the fastest years of your entire life. 2012 will be a hectic year for many of you, with considerable opportunity for breaking free and starting again. Uranus will spend the entire year with you, its second of seven, so expect the unexpected. In general it can be said that the year gets progressively better, but this will only become clear once you’re into August onwards. Some of you, particularly those born towards the end of your sign, are likely to find the first nine months of the year a bit of a drudge, whilst others, particularly those born towards the end of March, may have to deal with a form of opposition that can’t be avoided, requiring fortitude and perseverance. Many of you, primarily those born before the 6th April, will experience the time from the start of June onwards as becoming slowly but gradually more stable and consistent. The main theme, however, continues to be the developing urge for more freedom, independence and autonomy in your life, whilst at the same time maintaining and sustaining those friendships and relationships that are supporting and encouraging you during this time of change. If you stick your head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge the need for change, you’ll find that sudden, unpredictable and disruptive events will intrude on your life in ways that you can’t anticipate, likely to pull the rug from underneath your feet. Alternatively, if you’re willing to flow with the go and surf the waves of change as they come in, you’ll find an energy pattern of stimulation, originality and novelty becoming more and more the norm ... the choice is yours.
- PLUTO is directly challenging those of you born between the 27th and the 30th of March to eliminate the old, transform the residue, and rebirth into the new in a way that is permanent. No room for compromise or half measures.
- NEPTUNE is only going to affect those of you born at the very end of your sign, and even then only for a short time at the beginning of the year. In 2012 for the vast majority of you there’s no illusion, uncertainly or fog – you’re grounded.
- URANUS is directly challenging those of you born between March 25th – 28th to revolutionise your lives, to start again and incorporate more personal freedom than ever before – either that or stay the same way as you are now for the very long term.
- SATURN is opposing the Sun of those born on or after the 13th April until at least May and in some cases until the end of September. These people should cut their losses and consolidate their gains during 2012, going for solidity more than growth.
- JUPITER will bring a frisson of excitement and pleasantries from the second week of June to the end of September, especially to those born before April 7th.
- MARS won’t touch you directly in 2012.
- VENUS is with you from the 8th February to the 5th March.
- MERCURY visits from the 2nd-23rd March, and 16th April – 9th May.
- The Aries new Moon is on 22nd March and the full Moon is on 30th September.
Taurus You will find that 2012 is split into three clearly defined segments, each with their own peculiar style of effects. The first five months of the year are likely to be very memorable for a number of different reasons, all linked to Jupiter, the planet of growth, expansion and overreaching oneself being in your sign from the start of January to the beginning of June. As long as you keep things in perspective and don’t allow situations to expand too rapidly and get out of proportion to reality, the period until early June should be positive and fun. The early in Taurus you’re born, the earlier in 2012 this influence will occur, and the later in Taurus you’re born the more towards April and May the potentials will be at their strongest. The second four months of the year are much lower key, where you can hopefully assimilate and integrate the lessons of the first half of the year without too much fuss. But in all cases, it’s best to ensure that by the start of October you’re in a clear space with no outstanding difficulties so that from that time on you can concentrate on your priorities. From this time onwards, Saturn moves into your opposite sign and you’ll find that life becomes much more grounded, down to earth and in some cases limited by evolving circumstances. There’s no sense of major disruption here, no major crisis or trauma coming up, and neither is there any sign of gullibility or deception. There’s even a very good case for saying that your psychological well being is in for a real treat in terms of accelerated growth this coming year. Just make sure that you pace yourself, and don’t burn out in the first five months.
- PLUTO will bring considerable opportunity for internal psychological growth and external professional transformation into the lives of those born from May 26 – 29, and the high point of this is the first two weeks of March.
- NEPTUNE will bring a much greater degree of sensuality and subtlety into the lives of those Taureans born before the 24th April, with the high point of this process in the first two months of the year. Plenty of scope for quasi spiritual development.
- URANUS isn’t really affecting you directly during 2012.
- SATURN is relatively quiet in the first nine months of the year, but as 2012 evolves so a growing sense of anticipation and realisation comes. And some of you – mainly those born in April – may find October onwards hard for growth but good for pruning.
- JUPITER is in your sign from the start of January to the second week of June, for the first time properly since 2000 and the last till 2024. If you’re wise enough to take chances but not risks, you should benefit in this period. Make it happen.
- MARS won’t stay with you during 2012.
- VENUS is with you from March 5 to April 3.
- MERCURY visits briefly from the May 9 - 24.
- The Taurus new Moon is on May 20 and the full Moon is on October 29.
Gemini Whereas most of the other signs of the zodiac are caught up in larger, long term developments that are less day by day and more month by month, the opposite is true for you, at least for much of the central part of the year. There’s no sign of major drama or crisis during 2012, nor major disruption or difficult challenge. A few of you may go through a period of loss or confusion. 2012 is essentially split into three sections. The first, until the start of April – little if anything happens. Unusually, the period from the first week or two of April through to the start of August is a period of re-assessment of value system, and the period from the middle of June onwards brings a time of real opportunity for growth. The most fortunate time of the year comes at the end of June and the start of July, when there’s a three week conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in your sign, especially of benefit to those born towards the end of May. You’re not going to encounter any type of new opposition or authoritarian brake being imposed upon you, and in the second half of the year there are clear opportunities for you to stretch your boundaries and move forwards in a way that hasn’t been available since the year 2000 – but accompanying this potential of growth comes the obligation to use it wisely, and to know when to stop before you overreach or overstretch yourself. This will primarily affect those of you born before the 9th of June, but all of you will benefit as long as there is the willingness to recognise the wisdom of moderation. It’s not a difficult year, but it’s easier to live within your own expectations as opposed to those of others.
- PLUTO isn’t directly affecting any of you in 2012.
- NEPTUNE will square the Sun position of those of you born at the start of Gemini, primarily those born before the 25th of May. Not a brilliant year for signing long term contracts if you’re under this influence, better for getting into art or aesthetics.
- URANUS is bringing a degree of unusual opportunity to those of you born from May 25-9, chances that should be at least recognised if not taken, and this will be at its strongest during mid July.
- SATURN will bring a degree of structure into the lives of those of you born after 12 June, and this added low level background confidence and self discipline will continue until at least the end of September.
- JUPITER moves into Gemini during the second week of June and then stays with you for the rest of the year, bringing a degree of optimism and hope. This will primarily affect those of you born before June 9, but will benefit all Geminis.
- MARS won’t touch you directly in 2012.
- VENUS, with its retrograde nature, will be in Gemini from Aril 3 to August 7.
- MERCURY will enter Gemini on 24 May and leave after a brief stay on June 7.
- The Gemini new Moon will be on 19 June and the full Moon on November 28.
Cancer Sorry folks! Speaking as a Cancerian, I have to tell you that it’s not an easy year ahead for most of us. Some of us are getting really clobbered by a combination of Uranus and Pluto, although this is primarily limited to those people born towards the end of June. At the other end of Cancer, Saturn is having a field day bringing in a number of different restrictions and challenges right the way through to the end of September. You’re on the receiving end of a number of different pressures from many different directions, and your famed thick shell will come firmly into use in 2012. Having said that it’s not all bad news, as in the second half of the year a new energy emerges, one that brings with it a greater degree of sensitivity, intuition and empathy as well as art and spirituality in a way that hasn’t happened for at least fourteen years. But the underlying message of 2012 is that of having to be strong in yourself, and not to take the effects of other people on you too personally. It may well be that the reason other people are ‘dumping’ on you is because they see you as a safe port in a storm, someone with strong shoulders who is not going to buckle under pressure. So continue to be selective about who you let into your inner circle, and be aware that it is better to have a few quality people than lots of quantity. It’s practically certain that many of you will go through periods of loss and hardship this year, whilst others will have to change things or run the risk of calcification. At the same time, by persevering and maintaining a steady and tenacious attitude, you can real add some flesh to your existing bone structure and firm yourself up.
- PLUTO is going to be directly challenging those of you born from the 27th-30th June to eliminate and release old and redundant patterns and fears that have outlived their usefulness, and transform and regenerate them into something phoenix like.
- NEPTUNE is going to bring a degree of greater empathy, imagination and compassion in a favourable way from the start of February onwards, especially if you’re born before June 25th.
- URANUS is directly challenging some of you to revolutionise your lives, especially those of you born from June26-30, and there’s a pressing need as the year evolves to take a few chances and to know the difference between chance and risk.
- SATURN will bring a degree of examination and testing to the lives of those of you born after July 13, at least until the start of October. After this time, Saturn starts to bring more structure into the lives of those born before July 1.
- JUPITER will bring an energy of opportunity and growth potential into every one of your lives somewhere between the start of January and the end of May, and the later you are born in Cancer the later in 2012 this influence will benefit you.
- MARS won’t touch you in 2012.
- VENUS is in your sign from 7 August to 6 September.
- MERCURY flits through your sign from the 7th to the 26th June.
- Cancer new Moon is on July 19, and full Moon is on both January 9 and December 28.
Leo The primary influence in 2012 is the relief that comes now that much of the confusion and uncertainty, the fog and the quicksand of recent years is over. Regardless of how the year turns out, it is safe to say that the disorder is now at an end, and all of you will notice a steady but solid influence becoming more and more the order of the day, at least from the start of February onwards. What you’re not going to experience in 2012 is any direct opposition coming your way, either in terms of external challenge or internal sabotage. Many of you, but primarily those born in July, will experience 2012 as a year of new development that could and should bring an element of the new, novel and intriguing into your life in a way that gives you a chance to start again. Others of you, particularly those born after the 13th, are going to find that most of the year brings a chance to consolidate and strengthen those areas of your life that have passed recent challenge. And those mid Leo’s, whilst not as directly as others, are going to find a number of growthful opportunities developing as the middle of the year concludes, acting as fishing lines being thrown into the future. Of particular interest is the time of mid July to early August, when Mercury is retrograde in your sign and there may well be a few weeks of communication breakdown, erroneous information or some other type of revelation that will not be seen correctly until the end of August. 2012 is not a difficult year, but neither is it a year for major pushes forward. Instead, it’s a year to firm up existing and remaining ground in a way that grounds you in preparation for the next leap forward.
- PLUTO isn’t affecting any of you directly during 2012.
- NEPTUNE, similarly, leaves you alone from the start of February onwards. Only those born at the very end of Leo are still feeling the last dregs of mist disappearing.
- URANUS is bringing a degree of unusual opportunity to those of you born from July 7 – 31; chances that should be at least recognised if not taken with the full knowledge that opportunities like this don’t come that often.
- SATURN is bringing a degree of stability into the lives of those of you born after 14 August, although from October onwards he will challenge some of you, mainly those born in July, to exercise o greater degree of discernment about your priorities in life.
- JUPITER will test every one of you between January and May in terms of your ability to know when to stop, although from June onwards there will be chances for specific growth patterns to evolve, especially if you’re born before 10 August.
- MARS won’t pass through your sign in 2012.
- VENUS is with you from 6 September to 3 October.
- MERCURY visits, including its retrograde period, from 26 June to 1 September.
- The Leo new Moon is on August 17 and the full Moon is on February 7.
Virgo For you, 2012 is split into at least two separate versions of two different halves. It’s a topsy-turvy year, one when nothing will go quite according to plan but that won’t necessarily be a problem. Some of you – especially those born around August 28 – September 1 are fortunate enough to be entering what could and perhaps should be one of the very best years of your life, but coming with that is an obligation to take chances and make things happen, because times like these come perhaps once in a lifetime. This is especially strong around the first two weeks of March. A few of you, mainly those born before August 27, are under the baleful eye of Neptune, and as a result this coming year shouldn’t be one of long term plan but more contemplation and consideration of ongoing changes within. No new decisions here for some of you. But there’s no sign of major disruption, and as you get towards the end of the year many of you will find a new degree of consistency and stability dawning, although this influence only really starts from October onwards and primarily affects those of you born in August. The first five months of the year are the most experiential, with considerable potential for growth opportunities that really should be taken. The main factor that makes 2012 so different for you as opposed to any other sign of the zodiac is that unusually, Mars is going to be in your sign for the first half of the year. This normally is a process that lasts eight weeks at the most, but because of Mars’ retrograde nature during late January to mid April it will stay with you until July. Make the first half of 2012 the time when you become friends with your body.
- PLUTO will bring a number of chances for metamorphic transformation into the lives of those of you born in the last four days of August, akin to the caterpillar turning into the butterfly. The confidence is there, so use it or lose it.
- NEPTUNE will directly challenge those of you born before August 26 in a way that asks questions of your judgement and objectivity. Listen to the advice of those who unconditionally love you and have no agenda more than short term fascinations.
- URANUS will not directly affect your chart during 2012.
- SATURN will not directly affect you in 2012 until the last three months of the year, when it will noticeably bring a greater and easier degree of self discipline, structure, perseverance and determination into the lives of those born before September 2.
- JUPITER will test every one of you between January and May in terms of your ability to know when to stop, although from June onwards he will also bring an element of growth into your life if you’re born before the 6th February.
- MARS moves forward in your sign until January 24, goes retrograde until April 14, and leaves you alone from July 3. Use this time to steadily energise and improve your lifestyle in ways that emphasise being assertive but not angry.
- VENUS is with you from October 3-28.
- MERCURY visits from September 1-16.
- The Virgo new Moon is on September 16 and the full Moon is on March 8.
Libra 2012 is going to be another one of those years in that you cannot expect a time of peace and quiet. Some of you are going to find the year downright challenging, and the ways that you handle those challenges will dictate your long term future. A few of you may find the coming year somewhat difficult, and there may be a need for one or two of you to watch your back. A few others of you are going to find that whatever you plan, 2012 will not work out the way you expect, and that you’ll need to keep your surf boards waxed and your roller skates oiled. These energies of long term change are primarily going to affect those of you born during September as opposed to October, and it’s best to get objective and impersonal advice before making any new long term commitments. Others amongst you, primarily those born after the 14th October, are likely to experience the first nine months of the year as a time of ongoing restriction and circumstances outside of your control holding you back, not so much in terms of direct authority as much as having the brakes put on. Those of you born before October 10 should also find that the second seven months of the year are more favourable than the first five. In general, the year ahead is one of change and ongoing transformation, and if you keep your current position and boundaries too rigid, they will shatter and crumble. Alternatively, if you are willing to let your boundaries change from concrete and steel to rubber and elastic, you’ll become more flexible and adaptable whilst at the same time remaining invulnerable. It’s the final year of a three year period of restructuring so take your time and do it properly.
- PLUTO is directly challenging those of you born between 29 September and 2 October in a way that suggests you must make choices – either that or face events from others choices. Sometimes it’s better to act than it is to react.
- NEPTUNE isn’t touching you directly during 2012.
- URANUS is bringing direct challenge to those of you born between 27 September and 1 October, the need for change can no longer be ignored. It is just a question whether you act or react when change comes knocking on your door.
- SATURN will act as a brake in the lives of those of you born after 14 October, at least until June and possibly as late as late September. If there is still a gravity or tension around, work it through and know it will go one way or another by October.
- JUPITER will not affect you significantly in the first five months of the year, but from June onwards does start to shine beneficently on Librans born before 11 October.
- MARS enters Libra on July 3 and leaves on August 23.
- VENUS is with you from 28 October to 22 November.
- MERCURY visits from 5 – 29 October, and again from 14 November – 11 December.
- The Libra new Moon is on 15 October and the full Moon is on 6 April.
- PLUTO isn’t affecting any of you directly.
Scorpio 2012 is a year of three segments, all with different influences and potential effects on you. During the first five months of the year, all of you in one way or another will find that your one to one interactions with others, regardless of the relationship, are going to come under the microscope. Some relationships will grow and expand, others will contract and wither. The middle of 2012, from June to September, is quiet if somewhat anticipatory, and the last three months of the year will be noticeable as Saturn begins a thirty month stay with you. There’s no sign of self sabotage, and no sign of you attracting inappropriate or unhealthy energy from others in any underhand or behind the scenes way. Similarly, there’s no indication of any disruption or of you having the rug pulled from underneath your feet. And to emphasise the positive side of 2012, there’s no sign of fog or mist occluding your perspective, what you’re seeing and experiencing is pretty much the real thing. During the first half of 2012 with Jupiter in your opposite sign, there’s the chance of overreaching, over spending or in some other way going over the top, so moderate yourself. During the middle part of 2012 it’s time to step back and prepare yourself so that by the end of September you’re in a space of efficiency and effectiveness. It is from October onwards that the real influence of 2012 strikes home as Saturn enters your sign and starts its process of bringing structure, discipline (self imposed or otherwise) and boundaries firmly into your life. It is a question of getting stuck in and doing things the hard way at the end of the year, because if you do this then you only have to do it once.
- PLUTO is bringing the opportunity for shape shifting and metamorphosis into the lives of those born from October 28 – November 1, suggestive of caterpillar into butterfly or snake shedding its skin. Positive chances, use them or lose them.
- NEPTUNE brings a more subtle and aesthetic stance into the lives of those of you born before November 26, and encourages a more sensitive approach to life. It’s a year for developing one’s artistic and sensual nature.
- URANUS is not directly affecting you in 2012.
- SATURN will not affect you until the latter part of the year. However, he enters your sign on October 5, from whence all of you, but especially those born before November 2, can expect a degree more structure and discipline to enter your lives.
- JUPITER will affect all of you between January and May in terms of your ability to get on with others at the one to one level without getting your buttons pushed.
- MARS won’t touch you until 23 August through to 7 October.
- VENUS is with you from 22 November to 16 December.
- MERCURY visits from 5-29 October, and again from 14 November – 11 December.
- The Scorpio new Moon is on November 13 and the full Moon is on May 6.
Sagittarius You’re one of the quieter signs in 2012, the large majority of you will have a comparatively simple year with no new major problems arising. The background feel of the year at large is one of both restructure and change in a way that doesn’t cause or suggest problems. There is certainly no need to watch your back or worry about any unseen opposition, and there is also no sign of any self sabotage. But a few of you, especially those of you born before the 25th November, are likely to experience various levels of uncertainty, confusion or even gullibility. Don’t let yourself become enchanted by situations that make your close friends look at you and shake their head – if you’re born at the start of Sagittarius then 2012 is probably not a good year for making objective and informed long term plans or decisions. Others of you, especially those born between November 26-30, are in for a stimulating and exciting year, with the opportunity for considerable change coming into your life in a way that will be non disruptive and potentially really innovative. If you’re one of those Saggies who are born after December 13, then at least the first half of 2012 should be a time of steady and structured self discipline in a way that doesn’t bring excitement, but does bring reliability. There’s no new authoritarian pressure or limitation being imposed upon you, you can be your own taskmaster during 2012. The challenge will be to know when to say ‘enough’, especially from June onwards as the influence of other people at the one to one level will become steadily stronger and the challenge will be to keep your boundaries between you and them clearly defined.
- PLUTO isn’t affecting any of you directly during 2012.
- NEPTUNE will directly challenge those of you born before November 25 in a way that suggests nebulousness and uncertainty, bringing a year of contemplation and retreat as opposed to being pro-active. Conserve energy as opposed to frittering it.
- URANUS is bringing a degree of unusual opportunity to those of you born from November 26-30 in a way that suggests freedom from old circumstances and the chance to begin again in a more innovative way.
- SATURN will bring a greater degree of balance and self discipline into the lives of those Saggies born after December 13, they will easily learn that it’s easier to live within their own boundaries as opposed to those of others.
- JUPITER will be quiet until June when he moves into your opposite sign, bringing the influence of other people in one to one relationships sharply into focus for those of you born before December 9.
- MARS will be with you from October 7 to November 17.
- VENUS is with you from December 16 onwards.
- MERCURY visits from October 29 to November 14, then December 11 – 31.
- The Sagittarius new Moon is on December 13 and the full Moon is on June 4.
Capricorn With Pluto rampaging through your sign, you can expect 2012 to be another in a long line of ongoing years of transformation and regeneration. Whilst there will always be in the background the need for caution, there is also reason for expectation and change for the favourable. If you find yourself during 2012 dealing with people who are using inappropriate or unethical ways of seeking to influence you, don’t hesitate to cut them loose. During 2012 you can deal with big problems, but the second someone gets economical with the truth is the moment when you have to withdraw your trust, and there is no middle ground here. You trust, or you don’t, and honesty always works even if you don’t like it. The first nine months of the year have an edge about them that is not entirely comfortable, but one that can be worked with by an attitude of perseverance and resolve, but at the same time the months from January to May are not that bad either, with a number of small opportunities for natural talent to come through. 2012 cannot be said to be a normal or conventional year for any of you, although it is primarily those born during December or after January 12 that are under the most pressure. The typical Capricornian attitude of heads down and keep going won’t work on its own during 2012, there needs to be a clear incentive and purpose to your actions in order to maximise possibilities, as well as an attitude of perceived ruthlessness where and when necessary. 2012 is not a year of half measures, so either get out there and make things happen or choose of your own free will to step back and wait things out for a year or so.
- PLUTO is going to pass on the Sun of those of you born between December 27-30, bringing a concentrated year of compressed change with the potential for a level of intensity that can be both rebirthing and eliminating – not a year for half measures.
- NEPTUNE is beginning to shine more harmoniously and intuitively towards your sign in 2012, especially to those born before 25 January, for whom the year will be more sensual and refined than those of recent times.
- URANUS will bring sudden changes, for either the favourable or the disadvantageous depending on your flexibility, to many of you in 2012, but the prime influence is directed towards those born between the 26-29th December who should learn to dance.
- SATURN has two effects in 2012. For those born before December 31, the time from the start of October should bring more stability and steadiness, whilst those born after 12 January can expect the first nine months of 2012 to be nose to the grindstone.
- JUPITER will bring all of you the opportunity for growth, expansion or at least a good holiday between January and May in a way that is a minor reward for other challenges you are putting up with. After May he doesn’t directly affect you.
- MARS passes through your sign from 17 November to 26 December.
- Venus, unusually, doesn’t visit you at all during 2012.
- MERCURY visits from 8 – 27 January and then again on 31 December!
- Capricorn full Moon is on July 3, and there isn’t a Capricorn new Moon in 2012!
Aquarius In the background there are no new major factors emerging over the year ahead that will bring any big changes without your foreknowledge. After having tolerated and even persevered through fourteen years of confusion and doubt, there now appears to be no new clouds on the horizon, no external opposition and no new disruption. The long term influences in 2012 are a combination of opportunity and change in a way that encourages new beginnings without going to extremes. The last three months of the year can hold a sting in the tail, with the need for more focus and attention to priorities becoming apparent. The first five months of the year can also be a time of over indulgence or excess in some way. However, there are also some beneficial influences coming through in a steady and consistent way until the end of September that bring an energy of regularity and stability to many of you. Compared to recent years it’s a doddle, but just because there are no new problems doesn’t necessarily mean that you can go full speed ahead. Bearing in mind that many of you are only now exiting a long period of relative uncertainty and confusion, there’s a case for saying that 2012 is a good year for recovery and recuperation as opposed to growth, and that movement forward will be steady and regular as opposed to fast or dramatic. There’s not that much in terms of difficult attention being directed towards you in 2012, so why not use the time to totally recover from past energetic expenditure and recuperate whilst it’s fairly quiet? Not every year can be a go ahead and dynamic one, and I suspect that you’re in need of both recovery and a recharge in 2012.
- PLUTO isn’t affecting any of you directly.
- NEPTUNE leaves your sign for the final time in over 150 years at the end of January, so even those of you born around the February18-19 at the end of Aquarius can breather a sigh of relief from this time onwards.
- URANUS is bringing a degree of unusual opportunity to those of you born from January 24th-28th, chances that should be at least recognised if not taken.
- SATURN is bringing a degree of balance into the lives of those of you born after the 11th February, at least until August, although from October onwards he will challenge some of you, especially those born in January, and bring an element of examination into some of your lives.
- JUPITER will test every one of you between January and May in terms of your ability to know when to stop, although from June onwards he will also bring an element of growth into your life if you’re born before the 6th February.
- MARS won’t influence until the end of 2012, entering your sign on the 26th December.
- VENUS is only with you until the 13th January.
- MERCURY visits from the 27th January to the 14th February
- The Aquarius new Moon is on January 23 and the full Moon is on August 22.
Pisces 2011 was very much the year of recovery after what seems like at least five if not ten years of concentrated and compressed change, in a way that has altered things in your life forever. Now, as you approach 2012 you can look at it with a less apprehensive eye knowing that the hard times are behind you, at least as far as ninety percent of you are concerned. If there are any exceptions to this rule, it’s those born before February 23 who are well advised to take objective and impersonal opinion before committing themselves to any new life changing course of action. For some of you, it’s a year of psychological advantage, deeper insight and maturation, and for all of you there’s no sign of any sudden new disruption or chaos, no rug being pulled from underneath your feet. Added to this the fact that there’s also no sign of any new form of external brake being applied, there are no new challenging or limiting circumstances outside of your control holding you back. Indeed, for many of you there are going to be a number of chances and opportunities developing during the first five months of the year that can easily bring potential growth patterns to fruition. The period until May is the most favourable of the year for movement forward in terms of chance, whilst June through to September is seen as a time of more low key development. October onwards brings a greater stability that becomes steadily more consistent and reliable, and you can grow in ways that will be long term practical and grounded. 2012 will not be a hard year unless you’re directly under Neptune’s microscope, so use it to continue recovering and consolidate your gaining strength.
- PLUTO is bringing the chance for radical transformation into the lives of those of you born between February 25 – 28, a chance that comes once in a lifetime and that say use it or lose it. Particularly strong around first ten days of March.
- NEPTUNE moves properly into Pisces at the start of February for the first time in a hundred and fifty years and begins a fourteen year stay. It is primarily those of you born before February 23 who are at risk of confusion or uncertainty.
- URANUS is not going to be directly affecting any of you in 2012.
- SATURN will not have any significant effect on most of you until the latter three months of the year, from whence it will bring a degree of greater self discipline and structure into the lives of those born before February 28.
- JUPITER will bring a chance for growth and expansion to every one of you between January and May in terms of your potential for humour, travel and fun. From June onwards, the sensible amongst you will put the brake on voluntarily.
- MARS won’t directly affect you in 2012, but until the start of July he can influence your one to one situations in ways that can create a degree of impatience.
- VENUS is with you from January 14 to February 8.
- MERCURY visits from February 14 to March 2, and March 23 to April 16.
- The Pisces new Moon is on February 21and the full Moon is on August 31.
