The global situation is confused, to say the least. Mercury is retrograde in the middle of Virgo until the 12th/13th, so there’s going to be no sense found until then, just a puddle of confusion and lack of focus. After this things will begin to clear up, and by Equinox enough information will be available to make clear decisions. At the same time, on the 23rd, there a full Moon at the very start of Aries, a hugely topical place at this time, suggesting of further additions to the fray and more upping of the ante wherever you are. And in the background, Venus and Mars are having a lovers tryst throughout the end of Libra and first half of Scorpio, so I expect relationship patterns to be either really hot or ice cold. But the big thing is that it is all inner planetary stuff this month, not outer. This means that the main changes will be personal and not global. Time to let go of the fear and see what you can do.

Aries It’s a time where initially you are still echoing from the pounding that you’ve taken over recent months and the reverberations are only just fading, but as time goes on so you should find that the pace of life becomes not so much sedate as comfortable and manageable. With Saturn firmly anchored in your opposite sign, the idea of working and relating to others at the one to one level is never going to be that far away, but the immediacy and urgency of recent months is now fading and you can settle into a more comfortable groove when dealing with others knowing that there’s little if anything new that’s going to disturb your new found balance.

For most of you, there’s a noted decrease in the urgency and immediacy of life, it’s a time of reverberation, echo and result rather than specific action. But some of you are up against the wall, and particularly those of you born towards the end of March are in a situation where there’s a need for clear decision. Some people are at the end of their shelf life as far as certain areas go, and if you let go off them then the decks will suddenly become not only clearer but lighter.

The Aries full Moon on the 23rd September is very much a choice point, in that it will give you a detached and impersonal position to look back over the last two years and ask yourself what have you learnt? And more importantly, do you want the coming two years to be the same, or are you willing to embrace change? Taurus As we move away from the northern hemisphere summer months, so questions of value and worth, once again, rise from the ashes of the summer. What have you learnt over recent months? How have your values changed as a result of your experiences? You should be finding that your ability to interact with other is much healthier now, and although the number of people in your life at this time may be down, I suggest that there’s nothing new happening just yet – you’re re-assessing your status, and the new concrete information isn’t in place yet.

In the initial part of the month, you may feel as though you’re a bit of a damp squib, but within the first two weeks you will see that steadily, day by day, both your popularity and vivacity will improve. There are short term plans and then there are long term plans, and whilst the short term plans are able to be worked with easily and with no problems, it’s also an idea to start looking into the medium-long term future and making the first forays into new ideas and visions. Look to June of next year for the long term as a time of major growth and opportunity, and until then take your time and build things slowly. By all means take chances, but long term plans should be nurtured and grown slowly.

Gemini Although there may be some uncertain developments in areas of your home and family at this time, it’s really nothing to worry about. It’s just that the amount of information is too big and the quality of that information is too small. If you can sort the wheat from the chaff then you can afford the time and energy to be selective, in that quality is better every time than quantity. And when it comes to communication, it’s a rather strange energy around you now. You can deal with problems, the bigger the better. But at this time you can’t deal with lies, no matter how harmless. Fibs are minor ego boosting, but lies are direct enemy action and need to be avoided.

If you’re going to be assertive or projective in any shape or form during September, you’re best of doing so in the first two weeks, whilst both Venus and Mars are with you. After this, things quieten down and you can find a degree of balance, but initially the month is a bit rock and roll. There can be strange bits of information flying around during the first half of September, and particularly in areas of residence, property, home and family there can be really mixed signals. Probably not the best time to be involved in property and/or financial negotiations, although once Mercury stops going retrograde on the 13th things will change for the better. There are no major new impediments or challenges to your development over the coming month, but at the same time there are no dramatic new opportunities developing either. And sometimes stability is to be welcomed, it brings a degree of safety which whilst not necessarily exciting at least doesn’t pull the rug from underneath your feet. It sounds boring, but sometimes a period of consistency does help bring a more reliable future into the equation, and it’s not always there.

Cancer In the traditional world, Cancer is commonly associated with home and family circumstances, and at this time you’re reverting to type quite strongly in certain specific areas, although it’s not so much the older members of the family that concern you, or even the ones of your own age group. It’s more the kids, and the ways that they live around you, and vice versa. It’s all very well bringing them up, but as they age and mature they require more space, and inevitably there comes a time when they leave home. Leo Although there are quite a few financial changes going on around you, the long term outlook here is good, as long as you don’t put all your eggs in the same basket. Don’t be scared to take a few chances – chances, not risks – and you should find that your monetary situation steadily changes for the better. The only area I wouldn’t advise you to speculate in is that of property, as areas of residence and location can still be a little confusing. So, look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. If you can manage your resources well, then you’ll find that everything flows OK. Sagittarius There’s nothing really wrong, but at the same time there’s nothing spectacular going on either. Some of you (probably the older and wiser!) will see this as a time to play catch up and recharge, whilst others may fret at what they see as a time of inaction. Capricorn Increasingly you’re going to find yourself becoming drawn out into the world, a position that doesn't particularly fill you with pleasure. Nevertheless, as the end of the year begins to approach so the opportunities for more rapid communication evolve, and the faster you can think on your feet and make on the spot choices the more effective and efficient you’ll feel yourself becoming. Pisces With Jupiter and Uranus both popping back into the end of your sign for a few months, it’s as though there’s a revisiting of situations that you though were finally dealt with in April and May 2010. On the other hand, the potential to take silly chances is also there, so just because you think that you’re lucky doesn’t mean that you are.
