Terry has made ceremonial objects and practiced shamanism and shamanic healing for the past eighteen years. He founded the Shamanic Arts Studio about fourteen years ago for the purpose of creating functional shamanic art.

Terry Keepers, Ph.D. is a retired clinical psychologist who now works as a drum maker, silversmith, and shamanic practitioner. He has studied, taught, and practiced shamanic healing since 1986, and has made and sold shamanic drums and rattles for nearly as long.
