Through trial and error

The mirrors of behavior
Exploring knowledge and wisdom
Soul searching asking questions
About the true purpose
And meaning of life
Looking within for answers
External pleasure can only
Give you so much then disappears
The high suddenly gone
Still singing the old song
Playing the same tune
Repeating itself out of key
Over and over again
Without any positive change
Many years can pass you by
In a blink of an eye
Burning the spirit light out
In what true meaning really is
Enlightening your path
