Dear Ana,
Between school productions, holiday parties, family visits and hanging seasonal decorations, we have very little spare time during the month of December. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle, we encourage everyone to carve out time for enjoying the holiday season. Not only does it benefit us personally, it is important for our relationships and family.
Make a steaming cup of hot chocolate, light a fire, and sit in a comfy chair while you write out those Christmas cards. Make a loop through your neighborhood on your way home from an outing and check out the Holiday lights in your community. And check your local church schedules for candlelight choir programs. Take every opportunity this holiday season to nourish your spirit and heart.
