Bumblebee Jasper and Large Quartz Macaw Feather Lakota Sioux Medicine Prayer Fan

Sacred feather prayer fans are an ancient tradition that spans many cultures and nations. Sacred prayer fans are used to help dispatch prayers to the heavens, and are considered to hold great healing power. Sacred prayer fans can also be used when smudging or cleansing a space, to bless a person or space, to give gratitude, and during healing work.

Macaw feathers used in these fans are naturally shed from birds in a free-flighted aviary.

Bumblebee Jasper is a vibrant stone that is a combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, sulfur and other minerals. In fact there is debate over whether Bumblebee Jasper is a jasper or an agate. Either way its colors are as striking as a the bumblebee for which it's named, and brings us to that same ability to build and manifest.

Each sacred prayer fan is handmade and just as no two feathers are alike so is every fan unique. Sacred prayer fans are a wonderful healing tool with a myriad of uses that can blend with any tradition or background.

Please note that all fans use domestic bird feathers, as it is illegal to sell or possess feathers from birds of prey.
